Gaming - Fable II

When I first got Fable II I was playing on an Xbox 360 that lacked its harddrive (due to my personal error). Suffice to say, the game was good, playing through it from start multiple times allowed me to learn the tricks to making money, and thus making easy EXP over the course of the game.

For instance, by doing all the good deeds as a kid in Bowerstone Old Town I had a 50% permanent discount on all items and equipment. When I found Fairfax Gardens I discovered that everything there sold for a good 30% more then their actual value. Both to buy items, and to sell them back to the traders.

Using some logic, early into the game I used this to make a good chunk of money to buy equipment that would hold out till mid game, when Master weapons showed up. After that it was just buy for cheap, sell for high, and maintain a high income of money. No need for using the other money trick involving buying property, renting it out, and then abusing the Xbox 360 internal clock when it is not connected to Xbox LIVE.

EXP wise, by donating money to the Temple of Light, you gained EXP for the amount you donated. Making a ton of money from buying in Bowerstone Old Town, and selling in Fairfax Gardens, and making enough to use the sales on weapons to make even more money lead to tons of money for easy exp.

However, due to my game being unpatched, I abused a neat trick. In Oakfield there is a house which gives a speed ability bonus level, that is permanent until you sleep somewhere else. By trying to get rid of the level, you get EXP back, as much as you want, but the level will never decrease. In the end I had all abilities at level 5 and an excess of 5 million exp sitting around for "The Spire" portion of the game.

Now about gaming

DoWpro is a mod I have been playing off and on for the past couple years. Its for the Dawn of War series of games.

At this time it is a Gameplay/Content/Balance mod and I have had the job of preparing the first of the latest Factions for integration. The Sisters of Battle.

Thus far, most of the weapon coding is done, samef or wargears, abilities, and soon I will begin working on units. However, I have run into snags because of a select type of person constantly asking me for the files to begin playing the Sisters of Battle, when they are not ready yet, there is still much work to do but I should be able to finish it later "today" of my sleep time.

ANIME!

NOW onto ANIME.

I recently watched a show called Burst Angel, it was a slow starter and for several episodes the story-line was fractured. It was not until about halfway through that it started to link together and make sense. The main character was interesting to say the least, twin Desert Eagle tooting Angel of Hell.

The major focus of the anime was an unknown faction using "metal brains" to control Cybots in order to develop the capability to take control of lawless Tokyo.

Which reminds me, why is it that the most dangerous place on the face of the planet always has to be Tokyo?

Other Anime I have watched recently is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which suffice to say was EPIC WIN and should be watched ASAP. Also watched the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, and am currently watching as it comes out Gundam 00 Second Season

ZOMG FIRST BLOG POST

I am no Blogger, I am a Gamer, I am an Anime Watcher, I am a Game Modder, yet I must Blog because it is required by the dreaded TEACHER of the Visual Communications class Intro to Internet Design.

WHY MUST I BLOG!? It is a place that drains time from more important things! Like... VIDEO GAMES! SCHOOL and ANIME WATCHING!

May the ANGRY MARINES of WARHAMMER 40K descend with the FURY of the GOD-EMPEROR OF MAN and force this dreaded TEACHER to not require us to BLOG!
